I know how you feel. I felt intimidated by the Assessor and I am going to ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration when I get the final decision because she lied about a lot of things. She put in her report that I did not have bad days. She never even asked whether I had good days or bad days! Don't give up and fight them.

I had the expected bad news this morning. I have been awarded the standard daily living and standard mobility even though for the past two years I have had the enhanced for both. As previously stated the Assessor was not accurate in what she reported and I missed out on both by just two points each. I have already phoned asking for a Mandatory Reconsideration which I am following up with a letter. Wish me luck.

David

Make sure you have a look at the MR & appeal resources in the PIP area.

When you attend a Tribunal do you have to take all the medical evidence with you i.e. Test results and Doctors and Consultants reports? What information do they already have in hand?

You need to take the bundle of papers sent to you by the DWP and as added to by the Tribunal Service, all of the parties involved in the Tribunal will have this set of papers. Any addition papers that you want to be considered must be with the Tribunal Service no later than 10 days before the hearing.
