DM - Decision Manager, you will also hear the term CM for Claims Manager.

Hi
So I got stuck in straight away and posted a letter to DM yesterday recorded signed for.
I put on letter it was not a MR and not to be treated as such.
Today , I go online , my husbands ESA IR payment has been paid in 2 days early and significantly less than usual.
Contacted ESA, yes the SDP has been removed from his ESA and the Carers Premium will run on for 8 weeks .
So his ESA has been adjusted , without notice, and clearly PIP has been stopped , I have not received the letter yet.
I rang PIP. Yep, a decision not to award PIP was made on the 1 February and a letter "is in the post" .
Joy.
Now what ? I dont have any FME to offer , i was only signed off from Rhuemi in November all the medical letters etc were up to date.
I have said in my letter to the decision maker that the HCP had not recorded chronic pain and chronic fatigue in the medical summary.
I also said that my mental health condition is on going and it is incorrect to say there is no input or care pan as due to limited resources this dealt with at a GP level.
I have just focused on requesting the DM to consider MH Pain Fatigue when looking at washing dressing bathing and showering ( lost points 2 on this ) and the fact I rely heavily on the dossette box as due to memory issues ( i lost 1 point on this)
i did ask the DM to consider MH on journeys as before in ( i won that appeal last time , lost 4 points on this review) .
Wait for letter ?
I have made notes on HCP, she finsished sentences for me, asked waht a "flare up" was? She had little or no understanding of FMS and CFS .
I was ill on the day of the assessment. I was asked to attend an earlier appt , giving me 3 days notice, I couldn't cancel after agreeing as I had already changed on appointment. I can get confirmation I was unwell. ?? any good or not?
Im so so sorry for everyone , dealing with illness disability and having to deal with this absolutely shower of shit process.
god you must be fed up with reading the same experiences over and over again and nothing changes.

You need to wait for the Decision Letter to see what you actually scored, whilst it is likely that the DM followed the recommendation they may still have allocated different points.

Your task is not really any different from when you wrote your letter, in fact, you can use it as the basis of your MR request.

MRs and appeals are not always about new evidence, it could just be a case of getting them to read what they already have properly.

struggling to get my sh together here. Finally caved and saw GP today, immediate referral to MH services. I got DM letter. they have Cut and pasted same paragraph 4 times!
no cognitive impairment..etc etc ...no mention of the pain ..fatigue doing the activities...time it takes, how it wears me out just doing the simplest of things.
I know with it all on here i can fight this , with the hellp and guidance on here, but its having the mental energy atm, ive made an appointment for see CAB next week, im wondering if to put my trust in them, but more to the point am i wasting thier resources when I could have a fair crack at it my self. shall i just go for short MR letter as before, then take my time to prepare tribunal appeal as thats looks like it will be a while ? TIA

Normally I would talk about deciding between trying to get the Decision revised at the MR stage or going onto appeal but with DWP Decision taking at least 10 weeks and appeal wait times in most areas approaching a year, I don't think there is any reason not to go for the MR.

Hi
So this week I am preparing for the MR .
On the medical report she has recorded I suffer with depression and anxiety and have been feeling worse since september 2018. She has also recorded GP has prescribed 40mg Flutuxeine in september 2018 , but I only take 20mg . ( I then went on to say I do this this as I have heightened anxieties around taking lots of medication and I am currently seeing my GP regularly re my mental health, she hasn't recorded this)
The assessment was on 22 Jan , decision date 1 February . I saw my GP on 11th as previously arranged , we talked medication again, I said I will try 40mg , she wants to see me in 2 weeks, I agreed to assessment had telephone assessment with psycohologist that same day. I got a letter a few days later stating I had scored "severe depression" severe anxiety" , which was what I told HP on f2f . She recorded I was having a "low day today and that is why she has come with her Husband" .
On each justification for descriptor choice she has reported:
" AR1 reported no change, PA4 reports B, this is inconsistent with this report . She has no diagnosed cognitive condition although she has a mental health condition , she takes lose does firt line medication and has no specialist input or care plans" also FH reports that she puts her medication into a weekly dossette box" Which I told her because of memeory problems I have to do this , I forget if I have taken medication. She hasnt put his down. She gave A 0pts, last time I got 2 for B . There is no change .
Now given the decision date 1st Fev , does this fresh confirmation dated 11 feb of what I told her, and she ignored, count ?
I emailed my GP today too. I have asked him to clearly confirm my medical conditions, including WIDESPREAD Fibromyalgia , she only recorded FMS. I told her it was widespread, all over my body , all 4 quadrants I experience the pain, burning , fatique and stiffness.
i scored 2pts for washing and bathing , usually paragraph above "AR reports..PA4 reports C ..this is inconsistent ..etc etc..first line pain relief ...again 30mg/500mg 8 a day is alot! and i dont want to take anything else because of side effects!! ( and it doesn't work forever! )
I scored 2 pts on toileting, yet she scored 0 points on dressing . Again repeated justification paragrah * AR1 reprts ..PA4 reprts C ...this is inconsistent...blah blah..
Then saying continually discharged from specialist care....on one of the rheumi letters I sent it said to GP , please referr her to Fibromyalgia clinic..the GP apologised and said , im sorry there is no such clinic !! it GP level from now on!
so what do you say ? sorry but I cant keep running to a specialist every time i have an assessment , just to prove the bloody pain and problems Im having!
HP said FH reprts she can dress independantly ....yes but I said it is so flipping painful and triing and when i am in a total flare up lasting weeks, there are only 2 days in a week I might actually get dressed. My husband spoke up and confirmed he has to encourage me when im that bad. She just blanked him.
This paragraph above is on every page , it is also repeated 4 times in the decision letter .
I was fecked off on that day, i was really really not the ticket, my immune system was on the floor, next day I had to have antibiotics for 2 respiratory infections, i wen ton to get pleursy and my MH took a nose dive..
I think i have enough to pull the report apart , but is it worth all the effort given the date of the decision letter and the supporting evidence?
TIA
