There are no significant differences between a home assessment and one held in the Assesment Provider's offices, there are sections in our PIP Claim guide that cover the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

Don’t worry I have had 2 home f2f, for DLA then PIP. As well as the link that Gordon has suggested I found it helpful to put any aids that I had stated I use to manage my conditions, in the room where the assessment was to take place. Ie dosset box, back brush, baby wipes, special cutlery etc and a copy of my repeat prescription. I just felt it helped to show them visibly. She only stayed in the one room, and didn’t look around. Try and get someone to sit in with you. Good luck.

Yes, try and get someone to sit in with you and take notes on what is said and done. If there's such a delay in getting the decisions out, you may not remember too well what was said, which then makes it difficult to contradict anything in the decision should you need to.
