1. No one has had a Light Touch review and won't until 2023 when the first On-going awards are looked at again. We don't have a breakdown of the information but the latest DWP statistics are on the following
assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/governm...-to-january-2019.pdf
2. See link
3. The PIP Transfer legislation currently requires all claimants on the UK mainland who were under the age of 65 on 8 April 2013 to be invited to claim PIP.

Hi again
What is the situation currently for "Pensioners " on DLA that were 65 on x date April 2013
Are they retested?
Light Touch?
or Left alone currently on that benefit?
thanks

I'm not sure what you are asking
Claimants that were 65 or more on 8 April 2013 will remain on DLA
If they are under 65 then they will be invited to claim PIP at some time even if they are over 65 when that happens.
A Light Toch review will only be applied if an On-Going award is made.

Hi again
Yes I am aware that some persons are on DLA by being on 8.4.2013.= age 65 or older
My Q is please How are those these person still on DLA that reached the age of 65 at the date of 8 April 2013."treated" by DWP?
What and in which was are y are these persons treated by the "assessment/ award processes"
Or are they left completely alone and remain permanently on DLA with no or minimal contact from/by the DWP checking assessing?
and realistically many dwp assessments are in the vast main "challenging and challenges" to the person and their benefit/s, even A Rudd Minister recounted that people (not the ones above) have said to her being on the benefits and the challenges "make the persons feel they are on trial"
thank you

DLA claimants who don't meet the criteria to be invited to claim PIP will remain on DLA, if they have an indefinite award then they will not be reassessed unless they report a Change of Circumstances. If they have a Fixed Term award then they will be assessed for a new DLA award.
