Hi Malli
Glad you have made some progress. It isn't easy when you've been given incorrect information. I would put in writing the conversation you have held today - just to confirm that you have been told you have up to ten weeks to send in the information - you don't want to get caught out - which is always possible if they do it earlier!

Will do that BIS, I didn't think of that!
Very many thanks. I'll come back at a later date and say how I went on.
All good wishes.

Well I'm back much sooner than expected, and it is good news! I've had a positive result from the MR, despite being told it was at least a 10 weeks backlog.
Thanks to your excellent help I had a letter this morning, and I have been awarded standard daily living, along with enhanced mobility until 2030. Can't believe it, had to get son to check the letter!
( Not sure I'll last till 2030, but a relief to know the pressure is off)
Helped also by a last minute letter from my neurology consultant, who was very clear that it was unsafe for me to use a microwave ( epilepsy absences) and that: he had it in his notes, that I had put metal objects in the microwave in the past.
I really could not have done this without your help here. I'm so grateful to you all. It's such a cloud lifted from me today. What a horrible system. and one of the most humiliating experiences of my life. Thank you ever so much , especially to BIS who gave me such sound advice here.
Sending best wishes to everyone looking in.

Hi Malli, so pleased for you that you finally got the 'correct' award and you can now put the worry of it aside.
I do so hope in time that these assessors are brought to justice. I guess it takes a special sort of person to contemplate taking on the job in the first place although it is pleasing to read that some 'ethical' assessors do exist.
I wish you a peaceful Christmas
