Hi alison

Moving will not trigger a reassessment.

In your previous post you stated that 'My own area does not have Universal Credit yet but the new area does'. As far as I am aware all areas went full service for Universal Credit last year. What this means is if you have a change of circumstances then you would have to apply for UC unless you are in receipt of SDP.

Thank you Gary that's helpful. Perhaps it just means we are of getting transferred over to universal credit yet here. Thank you for your help

I would be claiming council tax benefit though so I assume that's a local authority thing.

Yes, Council Tax is not a UC benefit.
