TOPIC: PIP Appeal

PIP Appeal 1 month 4 days ago #242851

Just a quick question, if a late MR PIP request is accepted by the DWP, say for example six months after the Decision, and the result of the Reconsideration is a reduced Award, would they demand the six month over payment?

Cruella

No, not unless the reduction was determined to be due to a fundamental error in the original award and there is no reason to assume this.

If you are granted a late MR, say six months after decision, can you still get extra evidence for the MR like you could if you were doing the MR in the normal 30 days

Cruella

Yes, providing it is clear that the evidence relates to the date of the Decision.
