Hi everyone, apologies if this has already been posted somewhere, but I’ve looked and can’t see anything concrete about it.

I got my How Your Disability Affects You (PIP 2) forms through on 8th April 2020 - forms and letter both dated 26/3/20. Have been in state of horrific high anxiety trying to sort out papers, photographic evidence, etc, and rang the number on the form today to beg for mor time.

To my relief, I got an automated message saying that due to Coronavirus, they have extended the time to return the PIP 2 forms (How Your Disability Affects You) to 3 MONTHS from the date of sending them to us/ me/ everyone. My claim was officially started on something like 18th of March, just before the lockdown happened. I knew they were suspending Face to Face assessments, but I didn’t know they were giving us more time to get the application back to them,

Would urge anyone struggling with these forms to ring and check for themselves, don’t take my word for it, but for now, my stress levels have dropped considerably :)

Hope this is helpful.
