ESA Award Length

Hi Bud,

How would one know if it's been deferred? As the DWP have this thing about not letting a claimant know, hence keeping them in the dark.

Or does one like myself have to rock the DWP's boat and bite bullet, and ask DWP why I haven't been called up.

You would have to ring DWP. I thought my partner had been given a 10 year award or something, it was only when Gordon said that the max award for ESA is 3 years that I realised that he must've been deferred. Of course I would ring up as I couldn't live with not knowing, however, my partner doesn't want to know.
