Hi
Today I was able to talk with DLA and good news was that an award is awarded to my child.However they say can not be backdated.

I requested the application over the phone on 1 feb 22 and it supposed to reach back on 5 April 22 but I was not getting help from CAB to complete the form. I requested an extension that was granted to send the form as soon as possible.
17 May 22 DLA got form and other docs and award is from 18 May 22.
Should I close the matter or is there any thing to get it backdated?
