I just read on your Coronavirus updates about the new rules from the government about what happens if your pip is due to end and the 6 month extension period. Mine is due to end July 20th so I’m taking it as this applies to me, is that correct ?

Nasil

If you have an award that is longer than two years then it should, if it is two years then it will depend on whether it was classed as a long term award or a short one, if the former then it should apply.

If two years (short award) or less than two years then there may be problems, although the law does not differentiate between Fixed Term awards the DWP appear to be applying different criteria and they may not extend your award.
