Thank you Gordon.
Any idea how long claims are taking?
They have received factual report from both Gp and Occupational health consultant middle of May.

I stress this is a guess but you are looking at about 26 weeks from the claim form being sent. there is considerable uncertainty over the assessment process, Paper Based Reviews appear to be quicker, telephone assessments are happening but the volume seems to be restricted. Unfortunately, some claims are requiring a face to face and this is not going to happen for some time.

As someone with similar hearing loss I recently won my PIP at appeal but still only scored 2 points for wearing a hearing aid. The hearing was held in a quiet room and nobody spoke on top of one another. I did score points for other activities too as I have Menieres Disease which has left me with poor balance and I am socially isolated. I was also awarded 12 points for being unable to plan or follow a route with another person for the mobility part. Good luck and don't give in!
