I rang them up almost immediately & said that I would like an MR, & if you give a mobile number they send you a text so you have proof. They asked if I wanted to do it over the phone or in writing, I did it in writing. I started working on my letter almost immediately too as I got no points at all & lost my award. If you read the excellent guides it's easy to make notes from them, then you wont have so much work to do when you get the report. Don't give up that's what they want you to do, I got my award back after MR, but am still going to the tribunal.

Hi thank you for your reply. And Bud thank you for your personal experience of this nightmare situation The request has been made and followed up by a letter via recorded post. When someone has had high rate care for over 12 years admittedly no mobility award previously but her conditioned has worsened over a period of 12-18 months Re both care and mobility. In fact the evidence provided is very good via her GP and consultants. To give no points at all on anything is quite stunning. On this point, do the DWP have to prove her condition has improved since her last award as basically that seems to be what they are saying. This was a requested review from her due to her worsening health but it is a warning to other people even though you genuinely feel you quite rightly deserve a higher award (mobility) as well as her high rate care, this does show the risks involved in doing so.
They have not even sent there own questionnaire into her GP for info about her conditions. It will be very interesting indeed to read the assessment report when it arrives. Thanks again for giving advice and opinion, I do very much hope having heard similar horror stories on this site, she stays the course and justice prevails in the end. I will begin helping her with the excellent guides on here
