HI All,
So I have yet another update on the Pip review situation,

I phoned today to double check they had updated my extension date onto the system.
A very pleasant call handler confirmed it had been but also informed me my award had been extended to October 2021 so she was surprised I had a review form this early.
I explained I had called and asked for the form having received no letter to inform me of an extension on my award. At the time the call handler said I had been overlooked.
Maybe he missed the information showing on the screen or maybe it wasn't on there at the time, who knows.
I was told that the DWP have only sent out one batch of extension letters despite many more awards being extended..
So there's no going back now, once the form is sent the review has started.
The person I spoke to seemed up to speed having read new information circulated yesterday.
As she stated I could still have been reviewed at any time however it would have been useful to know my award had been extended, I would not have instigated the process, I would have just waited for them to send out the form.
Perhaps this explains the amount of review forms that have not been sent out in the usual time frame. However, if no extension letter has not been sent how would a claimant know?
You would have to take the chance that the DWP system is efficient and it would not possibly stop your award because they have overlooked your review.!
Anyway, I hope this information is useful to other forum members /mods.

The DWP have restarted assessments, a number of members who had been told that their awards had been extended by six months have now received forms.

Gordon what are these review forms like? I have been waiting since June as i phoned them with a change of circumstances and was waiting on a M/R,the following week i got a refusal on the M/R which had been dated a day after i phoned them.Ihave now appealed and have the bundle which is full of mistakes and lies which i will post,i've been read the guides on appeals and case law.
Thanks again

If you reported a change then you would have received a PIP2 to complete this was the form that you filled in when you originally applied for PIP.

Hi All,

I have good news regarding my PIP review, they have awarded me the same as before, enhanced living and standard mobility. The best bit is they have given me an ongoing award until 2030, was not expecting that at all so very relieved.
I did not have a great deal of new evidence but I did include a GP letter and a statement from a friend plus a letter confirming I had received counselling and another stating I was awaiting further treatment from a specialist clinic. In my case it proved to be enough, in fact they increased the points by 2 for daily living. It was a quick decision by DWP standards too, less than 4 weeks though of course the letter took over a week to arrive.
My thanks to Gordon, BIS and Gary for their excellent support , this forum is just such a great place to post questions and information and the mods knowledge is invaluable- thank you.
Good luck to everyone, whatever stage in the process you happen to be.
