Hi Lorraine, as I said to someone else, they are playing a numbers game with the claimant's life 'offer a bit and chance they won't dare fight'. It is your daughter's right to get the right award; if they tried to do the weird thing and lower it you could still challenge it at appeal, so all would not be lost.
