hi. i have come back to this because i need to get my migration done this week. my deadline is 18th july.
what do you mean there is a void? it is very upsetting to ask questions and the answers make no sense.

I still have confusion.
My deadline for UC migration is 18th July. I have time right? Can I get it done in a hour or two.. one day? Presumably you can go back and add bits if necessary/asked for? I can do it this week before my deadline?
I have a new passport. Do I now have enough ID? I do not have a driving license. Am I right in thinking I do not need to attend a job centre if they need to see anything. I am in support group IR esa.
When I migrate, should I also tell the council (I get housing benefit and council tax help and dsicretionary housing)? So that all of that they know what is going on?
When you move from one system to another, ESA/HB/CT to UC. Is there a void in payments that you have to find from somewhere? It's just that I read that a couple of people seemed to think that somehow they ended up with a period where no money was paid.. a shortfall that was never filled when migrating... or maybe they were mistaken?.
I'm sorry for the questions.. and I know that this is a great forum with helpful mods.. but... everything is not in one place.. it is here and there and everywhere and that means I have twenty or thirty pages bookmarked and i am still confused...
also, as an aside.. not that I should do it.. but is it true you can ask for an extension to migrate?

I understand a void because of setting up new system.. but I have got myself worried because a couple of people in forum answers have said there was an actual gulf/void that never got paid that left them in debt..

and finally.. well maybe not..
can't remember if I have asked this.. I have memory problems..
I think I read you can start the UC process but not submit it straight away? Can I start the UC migration now and then submit it say on Thursday (when I get my ESA payment)? Then again.. if I do migration now I presume I would still get a payment on Thursday? Or not?
Like I said.. I wish all the info was in one place.. and honestly, the CAB.. hard to get through to.. not very helpful.... I feel alone in this.. and too many far too many bits of info in a thousand places.. and I can't afford to be a member here.... though i have bought i think a guide or two over the years i think from here..
