Home visit for id verification was created by rik
My local jcp agreed to swap an id verification appointment at the jcp for a home visit this was 10 days ago and we haven't heard anything from them since apart from confirmation in our journal saying the initial appointment at their place has been cancelled the appointment was for my partner and their to do list is now empty is this the norm? how do the dwp inform people of when they are doing the home visit? my to do list still has one thing in it which is to prepare for my biographical phone call that is taking place this week.
Thanks
Rik

Hi rik
The DWP Visiting Team is separate from UC operations and the communication between the two isn't marvellous. All you can do is keep hassling the Work Coach with Journal messages.
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks David
Any idea why the confirming identity task has been removed from my partners online uc to do list?
Thanks

Hi rik
I think that must be procedure when the ID verification is going to be completed by a DWP Visiting Officer.

Hi
Still haven't heard nothing from the home visiting team since being referred regarding verifiying partners id it's been over two weeks , I passed my biographical test last week.
There is only six days left of our assessment period until payment statement is apparently issued in our online account.
we have messaged work coaches via online journal asking for updates on home visit but got no replies
The dwp agent who did my biographical phone call said if partners id is not verified by end of assessment period no payment will be issued, is she correct? or will I just get paid as I have been verified?
do you know what will happen if partners id isn't verified by end of assessment period? can dwp shutdown both our claims and say bye bye to us resulting in the loss of my LCWRA status etc so we will have to start fresh claims from sctratch.
Thanks

Hi rik
UC does not get put into until your ID has been verified. I have been informed that a stop notice is not sent out until ID has been verified which can have a knock on effect for claimants being transferred from ESA Support.
You may want to get your MP involved to move things along quicker.
