Thanks Gary
When you say it can have a knock on effect transferring from ESA support group what kind of knock on effect?
It's the dwp's fault the delay in verifying partners I'd for dragging out the home visit process.
Thanks
Rik

Hi. We are in a similar position to you, its been a nightmare from when online forms were done for us.
Online ID was going well both passports & used credit ref answered all questions apart from " are you associated with any of these addresses" & we werent & no option to say no. Said we had 4 more chances & then jumped to you wil be called on 9th July to verify ID.
Both verified ID, to be told sorry you need a home visit to verify more ID.
Was told verbally no idea when that will be could be 2 wks 6 wks etc no idea
Another message in journal to say my last ESA is the 17th July & thats, we have to manage on PIP
I now have the MP imvolved & 3 welfare benefit officers, one from my local council, one from my housing assiciation & one from the charity group who completed our online forms.
I cant get an advance as both waiting for ID to be proved, when it was proved by phone, but some unknown reason we have this home ID visit.
We've been told on the journal will only get one more ESA payment. But told on this forum that the ESA stays live till ID proved.
Tototally confused by the who farce. Which as made us both more unwell than we already are. My husband diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the start of this process & life is just hell & cant see any light at the end of tunnel.
I'd like to know how long you wait for you ID home visit?
Regards,
Tillyboo

Hi rik
One of the knock on effects of delay in proving ID, claimants may not receive their LCWRA element in their first assessment period.
