I'm very sorry to hear about your situation. The DWP fire ESA50s indiscriminately in the hope that a claimant's health will have miraculously improved. You only need to look at the optimistic prognosis on medical reports.

To answer your second question, there is no point in another medical. As well as causing unnecessary stress and anxiety it is a waste of taxpayers money.

Unfortunately it is the process that most ESA claimants have to go through, which many have already complained about on this forum. Sadly there isn't anything anyone can do except fill-in the required forms. I hope you're not required to attend a medical.

Actually, my accident happened five years ago. I've had DLA for five years now. It is renewal after 3 years at mo. My DLA has not been paid since 18th Sept and I am worried my motability car will be taken away...

I did not realise that these forms would appear again out of the blue. I sympathise with everyone else in a similar situation. It's depressing enough to trawl through DLA never mind repeat it all with ESA and Blue Badge. And why is it always winter when the weather makes it all seem so pointless? I just want to get on with my life, not dwell on my disaility all the time.

Sorry you are given the runaround all the time. I wonder how the politician would feel if they were treated in such a shocking manner.

HI Millymoo,
I queried my Blue Badge and I had the more detailed medical forms sent to me-I will just have to fill them in now, yet again dwelling on my disabilities.
MY DLA award expired after three years-they are obviously expecting a miraculous recovery, as I did not get an indefinite award, unlike some of my peers in the spinal injuries unit. I've checked my bank account, it has definitely stopped being paid. I am going to check how my mobility car is being paid for.
