DLA Decision letter not dated was created by maz59
My letter says I have not been awarded any benefit and have one month to appeal from the date of the letter, however it is not dated !!! What should I do ?

As the DLA award letter is not dated, you can submit an appeal ASAP to ensure that you are within the one month deadline.

Initially it is enough that you simply state on the GL24 appeals form that you disagree with the decision not to award you DLA, and wish to appeal, and you will submit further evidence as soon as you can.

It may well be worth mentioning that your letter was not dated, as well.

The DWP would find it difficult to disallow your appeal for being late, if your letter is not dated.
