hi,i sent my e50 by recorde delivery seven weeks ago today along with supporting evedence,not heard a jot from them,i tracked the form with royal mail and it was delivered,i phoned the dwp today and they have nothing about it on my records,she said that they would get someone to phone me later to explain the hold up,was it wise to pkone them i dont want to go for another medical and i would hate for this to happen because i mayberuffled a few feathers because of a phonecall.

I think you were right to phone them - how else would you find out if your form never reached its intended destination? As for a medical - I'm afraid there is no way of guessing whether or not one will be called for.

ok thanks,ive heard that much horror stories that anything that you do makes you that little more paranoid.

Hi,how are people with schizophrenia treated and assessed at
WCA,as my long time girlfreind suffers from this terrible illness,we are really worried as she has just received a letter
to attend a WCA.

The WCA assessment is based on the ESA descriptors, not the underlying condition, to some extent these would have been covered in the 17 questions asked in the ESA50 questionnaire. If you have not done so already, I would recommend you review our ESA Claim guides for mre detail. See

Where to get advice?

I will be honest, the assessments for those with mental health issues can be very variable, from OK to very bad, I am afraid there is usually no way to preempt this.
