Hi all,
A few days on, and after reading the Tribunal's decision in depth, i have realised that the DWP have a right to appeal the Tribunal's decision. Does anyone know of them actually doing it, or is it just a "legal" thing?

Hi A,
The DWP can appeal a Tribunal decision to The Upper Tier, (but seldom do) but just as with the appellant, they can not simply do this because they don't agree with the decision. It can only be done if they can show there has been an error in law.
You would soon get to know anyway, as their first step would be to request a written statement of reasons from the Tribunal within one month of the decision.
If they did this, you would also receive a copy, just as the DWP would receive a copy if you requested a written statement of reasons within one month of the decision.
