SAR

Hi I sent a GL24 back with a SAR letter attatched 32days ago ,but have not received any information back yet, what should I do.

With respect to receipt of your GL24, you could contact the DWP to try and gain recognition of receipt.

With respect to The SAR, the DWP have 40 calendar days to supply information requested in a SAR.

i received a confirmation letter on 21 march saying they received the appeal , sorry I meant information on the SAR, so will I have to wait till the forty days are up before i do anything

Yes, you will need to wait as this is how long DWP have to reply.

I sent a SAR after I was placed in the WRAG, the 40 days to return came & went the pack arrived about 45 days after they recieved it, the letter that came with the pack did apologised for being late !!!

I counted a straight 40 (calender) days including Saturdays & Sundays as they count them when dishing out the ESA50 with there time limit.

As Bro58 said they have 40 days to get info back to you, they never seem to rush to return anything to you so probably expect to wait close to the 40 days (almost sounds biblical) the 40 day bit
