Therefore, the SG Component would be backdated and payable from the beginning of week 14 of your claim.

8 months is an awfully long time to be in the Assessment Phase, it is supposed to be done in around 13 weeks.

Another thing I just thought of if it is only 1 year is it 1 year from now or from when I first got into ESA which has been going on since September 2012.

Hi Sw,

As any ESA award (WRAG or SG) would be backdated to the beginning of week 14, the prognosis, whether it be 1 year, or for a longer or shorter period would run from then.
