thanks for that,the one or two page submission about the sg descriptors,would it be better to concentrate on the one or all of those that it affects and do I need to send this to the decision maker at the dss as well?

Hi p67,
You should only highlight the SG Descriptors that you feel that you fulfill.
e.g. If you have problems "Mobilising"/ Moving Around, you could cite Activity 1. of Schedule 3 SG Descriptors :
"1. Mobilising unaided by another person with or without a walking stick, manual wheelchair or other aid if such aid can reasonably be used.
Cannot either:
(a)mobilise more than 50 metres on level ground without stopping in order to avoid significant discomfort or exhaustion;
or
(b)repeatedly mobilise 50 metres within a reasonable timescale because of significant discomfort or exhaustion."
Stating the reasons why, and referencing this to a page and/or X- Ray, MRI image of your evidence.
All X-Ray/MRI Images should also have a corresponding report of findings, which should accompany the images.
Of course the above is only an example, you must pick the descriptors that you feel apply to your own limitations.
As the appeal is now in the hands of The Tribunal Service (TS) all correspondence should be to them.
They will then provide copy to The DWP.

Hi p67,
You should forward any fresh evidence and submission to The TS, as soon as you can.
If you have to take anything on the day, make sure you have 4 copies, one for yourself, one for each of the panel, and one just in case a DWP Presenting Officer is present(which is not common). Hand them to The Clerk ASAP, after you arrive.
Good luck, and please keep us updated.
Have a look at these, they may help :
