Is there a time limit for a GP to respond to DWP

Yes it does MHB,

However, I am personally aware of situations where ESA113's have been returned later than this, and have been accepted by ATOS/DWP.

Whether this is always the case, is anybodies guess.

Yes, and to think, at one time the DWP (DHSS, DSS) was a respected organisation, who had some modicum of consistency in their procedures.

All that seems to be in a very distant past now !!! :(
