ESA Medical Assessment

Another thing, I have always signed on every two weeks but last week i saw an advisor i've never seen before and she informed me i now have to sign ob every week. i have no idea why; my grandson who is 21 signs on every two weeks still,so i dont get it.Any ideas? Should im request an official reason why?

We don't advise on JSA on the forum, but I can't see why you cannot ask!
I assume that the frequency of your appointments is part of your Job Search agreement, if this is the case then they it should require your agreement to the change, although I am not sure of the circumstances under which you can refuse.

As previously advised we are extremely limited in the advice we can give in regard to JSA.
Re the Work Programme, if you are forwarded then it will be a two year period, there is no variation in this, however, your obligations to participate only exist while you are receiving either JSA or ESA, if you are lucky enough to find work that suits you then you do not need to deal with your Work Programme Provider anymore.
Unfortunately, from posts on other forums, the WPP may take a different view, you need to understand that they receive a payment for successfully placing claimant in long term work and they can be over zealous in protecting that income, so it is not unusual for them to continue to contact claimants after they have started work.
