To be clear, if it was not already, all Decisions have to be notified to the claimant in writing stating what the Decision is and when it applies from, depending on the benefit and the nature of the Decision there may be additional information, for example; for DLA and PIP the term of the award should also be included.

I fully understand what you are saying BUT why do we have to chase them for the award letter, should it not be sent out as part of the process of notifying people of their decision?
