I've had my MP Tracy Crouch involved already bro58.
She's written several letters on my behalf already, but the letter she got in return from atos was basically, tuff, he's just gotta wait!!...
But now I've had my assessment and it's now down to DWP and not atos anymore, she may have some leverage.....
I've nothing to lose by asking her..
Again, many many thanks to you guys for all ur info and insite, this website is awesome!..

my latest news on my pip application,
i thought my assessment report would of been back with dwp after six weeks!!!
as it happens, atos STILL has it, and now apprently, after 8 weeks its still with atos, caught up in an audit!!!!
can you beleive the incompitance of these people!!!
i'm at my wits end with this!
its been nearly seven months now since i applied for pip!!!
these people should be shot for there lack of being able just to do their jobs!!
to say im angry about this, is an understatement!!!!!

I applied for the 1st time in July 2013, had my ATOS assessment 25th Nov & I'm still waiting a decision, like yourself my application is stuck in the audit process. I ring ATOS every Wednesday to check its progress. This week I was told that a memo has gone around ATOS that any application that is sat waiting to be closed will be done by today & mine is 1 of them but I wouldn't hold my breath. At my assessment I was told that i would hear within 4-6 weeks!...... I also had an assessment on Feb 6th 2014 by ATOS for Industrial Injury Disablement Benefit, I received a phone call a week later to advise of my claim & what I would be receiving. I don't understand how this can be dealt with within 1 wk for a different benefit when ATOS done both assessments.
