Sea renewal

My esa award runs out this month however I have not received any renewal forms. In view of this I rang up and was told that there is a delay and that they cannot tell me how long it will be before the forms are sent out. I was assured that my money would continue to be paid whilst I am waiting. Is this correct and has anyone else come across this?

Both ATOS and DWP have huge backlogs and many reassessments have been suspended. We have some members who are more than 12 months beyond the date they expected to be reassessed. Your ESA payments will continue until a new decision is made, however long that takes (as long as you do everything you are asked in the time-frame stipulated).
