Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi MSm,
Have you received the 'bundle'of papers from DWP yet? We recommend that you wait until you have seen the DWP submission before you write yours, that will allow you to rebut their points.
You should explain exactly how and why you meet the ESA descriptors, even if this means contradicting the assessor's report.

I have today attended my appeal hearing. The Judge and a medical doctor were the only two asking me questions. hey were extremely nice and I felt very much at ease. I decided to wait for the outcome and was called back into court after about 15 minutes. The judge said that it was good news and the letter in front of me said that they have upheld the appeal and I was to go into the support group. I am over the moon about this and cannot thank you all at Benefits and work for all the guides and advice. Thank you soooo much.

Hi
How long does it take for the DWP to acknowledge the appeal outcome? My appeal took place on 2nd Feb and I still have not heard from the DWP. I had to continue to sign on and after a spoke to the ESA, they said that I should hear from them before my next signing on. My next signing on is Monday 27th. I have received a letter from Jobcentre plus to say that I have exhausted my 182 days of JSA, Do I just carry on waiting or do I need to do something?
