i sent off completed esa form 9 weeks ago in october. I heard nothing untll on the 8/12/16/ i then received an appointment date for medical and also a pip renewal letter, both were posted out on the same day. I was wondering is that normal.

It's purely coincidence, ESA appointments are sent out by Maximus and the PIP invite by the DWP.
