Short
I had my appeal today, all I took with me were the DWP bundle, a few letters from hospital showing appointments and a few notes I had made.
I had gone through the DWP pack and noted the areas I didn't agree with.
The judge tried his best to put me at my ease and asked me questions. All the questions were straight forward, no trick questions. The Doctor then asked me a few questions. I didn't even get to talk about the points from the DWP pack, they were satisfied with the answers I had given.
They were asking about my condition at the time of my assessment.
I took my husband with me and although they only wanted to hear from me direct, they did ask him if he felt there were any points I had missed. He then had a chance to speak.
Wish you luck for your appearance at court, but from my experience today, both the judge and the doctor were far more understanding and it was much better than the actual WCA
