Is there no one who can take you to the appointment? Most areas have volunteer taxi services, where you just pay for the mileage.

I Have spoken to my GP about a letter & they want £25 for a letter, sent Email 6 weeks ago to MP still waiting for a reply!!
I guess i will just have to cancel appointment & get my Pip stopped, i can't see anyway around it, i cannot afford £25 for a GP letter & obviously i can not travel either & no reply from MP.

You can ask them to pay for a taxi, but they may refer back to a GP's letter.
