Hi there,

My DLA has run out. I have a Blue Badge and this has also run out as a result (the date on it has just expired). I have a PIP claim pending but have not heard back with a medical appointment or anything as yet (its been over 2 months).

Can I still use my Blue Badge - does anyone know? I guess probably not? My bus pass also runs out.

If the Blue Badge has expired then you cannot use it, doing so could result in your being refused a new badge even if you qualify automatically.

You can either wait to see what happens with your PIP claim or you can make an application directly to your Local Authority for a new badge.
