If you have a diagnosis of cognitive impairment then it should be considered if it is a symptom of other conditions or medication then it will be more difficult to show it's impact, but don't give up.

The official success rate at appeal is more then 60% but we see higher rates on the forum, if you want to have a look then paste the following into the search box in the top right and click "GO"

Mental health team 2014 I thought I was getting Dementia Scarry
But turns out it's Mild Cognitive impairment The thing is its not been ticked as a yes on the ATOS HP Justification for review period choice form. Cognitive Impairment is there but it's not ticked and I was hoping the HP had overlooked something that's why I asked about Mild ..mind you this Atos HP is on the ball I was going to resend the medical Evidence regarding M.C.I that would give me scope for the 2 point I need I can't find anything online regarding PIP and MILD .C. Imparment

Now here's a question for you I have made some notes well quite a few notes regarding my F2F Would I lose points if I typed the letter or should I pen it in aye I'm not kidding my heads gone, I could get it all typed out make my life easier. I have started to believe the report I can now run for a Bus wallpaper the bedroom and groom a Small horse, But still can't stop my Bowl incontinence

Can I ask when its says help you need from another person This includes help you have and help you need but don’t get does that effect the PIP Scorings example “ I need help getting changed due to Bowel Incontinence but I don’t get the help does this effect the scoring Would you get the score you should as if there was another person there to help you or not ? This is very important I understand this

You don't have to be receiving help to score points for needing it but you will have to explain how you manage if the help is not available.
