I'm sorry your appeal was not successful. I would speak to your Rep about the result, you do have the option of requesting a Statement of Reasons from the Judge of your hearing.

It's not common but we do see errors on the Decision Notice, there are two issues to consider.
Obviously, does this effect the award you might receive? From your post I guess not as 8 or 10 points only qualifies you for the Standard rate unless you also received points from the other Mobility activity.
Secondly, are there any implications going forward? If you leave it as it is, will you have to do more work at the next assessment? This is difficult, if you are hoping that you might score 12 points next time then you will need to detail a deterioration anyway, in part it will depend on how you might score the extra points. If you are only likely to score for Moving Around then it may be easier to show a reduction of walking distance from 50m to 20m with an aid than showing that the reduction without an aid.
Have a look at the PIP Claim guide for the actual Descriptors as I am aware the above may be confusing at first glance.
