Hi, Can you please answer me a query!!!! If a person has a severe dissability, & is married, & there other partner cares for them over 35 hours a week, can that other person claim carers allowance????? She has been told: " No she can not claim because there are married" !!!!! I was under the understanding, that it did not matter if you were married or not. Please confim this for me.
Please keep up the good work, you all do, as we are all, soooo Greatful to you.xx:kiss:

There is no restriction in a partner or relative claiming CA for someone providing the person to be cared for is receiving a qualifying benefit.
