I've seen mixed comments about the Blue Badge from authoritive sources. One said that you could continue to use the badge until it expired, the other that as the claimant no longer meets the criteria on which the badge was issued then it can no longer be used.
It's your decision but I would err on the side of caution as using a Blue Badge illegally can result in your being banned from the system for life.
You can make an application directly to your Local Authority for a Blue Badge.
