Hi,

I read elsewhere on the forum that a sick/fit note can not be issued for more than 3 months in the first 6 months of a claim.

Does this mean that after the first initial 6 months a fit note can be issued for longer than 3 months? If so for how long? 6 months? Longer?

For as long a period as your GP is prepared to write on the form, they can write indefinite.
