Hi,
Wondered if anyone could help. Have my ESA Assissment on Tues 9/1/18. With regard to identification searched high and low for Birth Certificate and have mislaid it. Bank statements and utility bills are all done online. The only ID I have is a Driving Licence(one of the old paper ones) as I haven't been able to drive for years. the only photo ID I have is a Bus Pass with a recent photograph on it. I have a passport but it expired last year as I haven't been abroad for years. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The best thing that I can suggest is that you contact the Assessment Provider and ask if the identification that you do have will be acceptable and if not what they need you to provide.

Hi Gordon,
Thank you for your swift reply much appreciated. I have contacted CHDA UK on the freephone number and spoke to a very nice person on the phone. He advised me to take along my old out of date passport and my Bus Pass(has up to date photo) a benefit letter(I'm taking my Assessment phase ESA award letter) and of course my appointment letter. He has said these should suffice as ID. I will also take my meds. Now onto the difficult part....
