Esa question was created by buttons
This is probably a silly question but can you get put into the support group if you score 15 points or more on physical grounds such as mobility without having to apply on mental health grounds ?? or do you need to score for both?.. Or can it be one or the other or both...thank you

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hello Buttons,
In order to qualify for ESA you do not need to have both physical and mental health problems together. You can qualify with physical problems or mental health problems or both.

Hi Buttons,
You can't get into the support group by scoring points.
A score of 15 or more points gets you into the WRAG. To get into the support group you must meet one of the specific support group descriptors (or the exemption regulation)

That is correct but some of the 15 point Descriptors correspond to Support Group Descriptors.

Gordon,
I only repeated what advice I had seen posted previously.
" Qualifying for the "Support Group" or LCWRA Group is not points based you need to meet one of the associated Descriptors"
