Can somebody explain my brother went into hospital on Christmas Day and is still in hospital if he reaches 4 weeks in I believe his DLA is stopped as he had a payment on 26th December and his four weeks will be up on 22nd January will he receive a payment on 23rd January as I believe DLA is paid in arrears

My full name is showing, how can I stop it? In principle he should be paid, but notification of his being in hospital for more than 28 days may delay the payment as based on your post his normal payment would result in an over payment. The delay should only be for a couple of days.
