I went for my esa assessment today and despite having asked for it to be recorded, the recording equipment was not there. I had to drive 30 miles to get there. This was the third time they messed me around. The first time, they had not noted that I had requested my assessment to be recorded, the second time, they cancelled the appointment without telling me as the recording equipment was broken. I need my assessment recorded as I will have trouble remembering what has been said and the person coming with me will not be able to take notes. Can I ask for a paper based assessment? as I am finding this so stressful!
You can ask but I'm afraid you won't get a Paper Based Review without the support of your GP to write to Maximus explaining why your attending would be a danger to your health.
