Hi
I have just recently heard the news about the turn around in PIP mobility.
I was awared 10 points for mobility for mental health last April under the new rules. Whereas I would have been awared 12 points before the change.
I have heard rumours about backdated money. Can you tell me if this is true and should I expect some? Also do I have to write to anyone regarding this?
Thanks

Thanks for your help. I have read over the link you sent me and still find it quite confusing. I am not great with these things sorry.
I read over my award letter and the descriptor I fell under was
(d) Cannot follow the route of an unfamiliar journey without another person, assistance dog or orientation aid.
Can you explain to me with the extra information if my award will be changed?
Thank you

If you were assessed as meeting (d) then I would not expect your award to be revised as you have already met the revised criteria, you just weren't assessed as being unable to follow the route of a familiar journey.
