DWP to re-examine 1.6m PIP assessments but this will only effect Daily Living element of PIP ? Many claimants will have gone into their assessments thinking they had a solid claim on both Mobility and Daily Living . Some will have been refused the mobility element but given daily living , against expectations, and this could mean a complete reversal of their existing circumstances. Had their claim succeeded on mobility only, they would now be in a better situation in that they now might rightly be given 'Both' elements.
