Please can you tell me my uncle applied for PiP Several years ago he had a letter to say he did not get this award ..because mental health was not classed as a Disability.. this was around 8 years ago he is now a pensioner could you please tell me how fare back are the DWP going to go ... To check if they should have been awarded PIP..
The DWP are going to review all claims, however, the issue only effects the Going Out activity and not all of that, so if he received no award then it would seem very unlikely that he would now qualify.
