I have just received the annual letter about the rates of ESA I get
At present I get £125.55 pw

However, it doesn't seem to make sense as quote:
" From 11th April your ESA will be £163.pw
"From 28th November your ESA wil be £110.75pw
To see how we have worked this out see attached page, this comes to £110.75, seems they have left off the Extra money for being in SG, but why the £163 figure?

Tried calling but gave up after 15mins of Handel.

I get my state pension in March, already applied for it and have letter of the breakdown of what I will receive, so ESA will finish in any case at that point, presumably they will be notified of this by the pension service?Just curious why I have got this confusing letter at this point

I'm afraid I can't explain it, I'm not sure that I have ever seen an ESA letter that makes sense.

As your ESA ends in March due to your State Pension I would save yourself the aggravation and park the letter.
