New Form For PIP was created by Jean Graston
Hi, I used to get DLA medium care and high mobility for 'life'. Now- after a re-evaluation- I get enhanced for both components, however this time it was only given to me for less than 3 years. I suffer from severe arthritis which unfortunately has got worse and worse for me every year. I am now starting to worry about what happens next, for example, do we, in general, have to go through the whole process again? or have people been getting a less intensive application? I would appreciate any feedback anyone could provide regarding this subject.
My husband has just heard that he has been awarded enhanced rate for both for 4 years, this is with the help of this website, and we are extremely grateful.
With thanks Jean

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
The vast majority of PIP awards are being reassessed a year in advance of the award ending.
I would expect you to receive an AR1 Review form, this is a shorter form than the PIP2 that you originally completed, it asks you whether you limitations are the same, have worsened or have improved,
However, do not be fooled by the simplicity of the form, you will still be reassessed in full as to whether you should receive a new award.
Our PIP Claim guide covers the form and some of the issues that it's completion raises.
