requesting copies of GP & Consultants reports was created by j.s.
Where do I go to request copies of the GP's Factual Report and the Consultants Report, I'm under the impression that these should be requested by the pip people and that I can see copies, also they are visiting me at home for my assessment (not requested) I only asked for wheelchair access to be available, I have a dog and recall something about them not wanting to visit if you have a dog, is this the case?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Do you know that these reports exist?
If they do then it may be quicker to go directly to the authors but you should be also able to request them by contacting the DWP office dealing with your claim, the address and phone number will be on any letter that you have received from the DWP about your claim.
Just make sure that the dog is secured and away from the assessor when they visit and it should not be a problem.

I don't know if they exist, I'm assuming they would request the reports as a matter of procedure from my named GP and Consultant, am I wrong in this?

I'm afraid medical evidence is requested in less than 10% of claims, at most.
Check with your contacts as to whether they were contacted.
